1. Who can join your affiliate program?

The good news is that anyone can become an affiliate. Even if you are just starting out in this online venture and you do not have a website yet, you can simply create a free account at Clickbank.com. Start driving people to the digitalweddingsecrets.com website using a special link that you will create. The minute that an online user purchases my e-book through your link, you will earn a commission which will show up real time on your Clickbank account.

2. How do I get started in becoming an affiliate?

First, create your free Clickbank account by visiting this link. Fill out all the necessary information in the web form and choose your Clickbank account name. After submitting the webform, all you need to do is insert your Cickbank name into the URL below and use the same link to direct online users to my website: http://XXXX.wsecrets.hop.clickbank.net

Replace XXXX with your Clickbank affiliate nickname. Let’s say that the nickname that you have chosen is photo1, here’s what the link would look like: http://photo1.wsecrets.hop.clickbank.net

You can also may use of the link generator feature on my website which is accessible here. It’s important to create this link correctly, otherwise you will not be credited for your sales!

3. What are you refund policies?

Our policy is that if a person requests for a refund on their purchase, the affiliate will not get a commission on the said sale. However, this rarely ever happens simply because of the quality of product that we offer to our clients from around the world.

4. How can I better promote the product?

Here’s a tried-and-tested formula that you can follow in order to better promote our product: Website that sells + Lots of qualified traffic + List building = Promotional Success

Try not to worry too much about traffic at first. Instead, focus on building a large list so that you can build a website which will convert eventually. This is especially true if you are no expert Facebook or Google AdWords marketer. Take a look at a few tips that you can keep in mind:

  • Start by creating your own targeted blog which is dedicated to wedding photography. The more specific, the better. Your target audience can be purely amateurs photographers, wedding photographers, or a group of professional photographers. This niche audience will make it easier for you to market our products.
  • Have your own domain name redirected through your hop link.
  • Make sure to include an honest program review on your blog or website. Better yet, incorporate a chart which compares our product with that of a direct competitor’s.
  • If you have benefited from the information derived from our products, tell your audience about your transformational story!
  • Embed a link to my articles on your blog or website and post comments. Do the same with video coaching lessons.
  • Give away our free 'Wedding Photography Tips E-Report'.
  • Include an 'About Us' and 'Contact Us' link.
  • Create your own original, dynamic content.
  • Make sure that there is an opt-in form so that you can start building a list of followers.
  • Think about this. The minute that an online user lands on your site, will they find your website or blog content engaging and entertaining? Will they find a reason to stay and go back for more?
  • Use the banners, graphics, images and e-book covers that will be provided for you whenever appropriate.
  • Post success stories and expert reviews.
  • Always keep your online visitors in mind. Make sure that your content is written in such a way that it will benefit them instead of you.
  • Use programs like Google AdWords, article marketing, YouTube, blogging and joint ventures to further promote the product.

5. If someone prefers to enrol only in your newsletter course, do I still earn a commission? The rule of thumb to follow is that your affiliate link should be the last link clicked on before ordering. Naked links are used on my site, which means that the newsletter links are not within an affiliate link. This is to protect us from sneaky publishers who use affiliate links in their marketing scheme to cancel out their affiliate’s ID and steal the commission.

To sum it all up, if an online user goes to my website using your affiliate link and opt-in to my newsletter course ' then orders after reading one of my newsletters ' you will definitely earn a commission.

6. Why does Clickbank enforce a policy that it is that last affiliate who earns the commission and not the first?

This is a particularly grey area as far as affiliates are concerned. When you ask the CEO of Clickbank himself, the response that you will get is that they award a commission to the last instead of the first because it’s the one that they went with.

Think of it as shopping in a mall. When you go to five stores and all stores have sales clerks who earn via sales commission ' the clerk who will earn the commission is from the store where you end up buying an item from.

This ruling that Clickbank has should really not bother you as an affiliate ' all you need to do is make sure that your link is what leads visitors to actually buy the products that we are selling.

7. How do I earn from backend commissions?

Since August 29, 2009, No-Nonsense Muscle Building has included the 1-Click Upsell Technology. What this does is allow additional products to be sold to a website visitor during the purchase flow. The technology gives us more power to monetize a single hop, since affiliates earn commissions on the purchases upsold. *Note: This feature is only applicable for qualified vendors like me who have met extensive Clickbank standards and requirements. Less than 1% of Clickbank products even have access to the software, so you need to muscle up your marketing campaign! However, the added revenue will not show up in the average payouts on the Clickbank marketplace but it is live and working.

Take your pick from two different offers, both of which have a downsell. Both offers can be seen through the purchase flow.

Let’s say that you earned an initial commission of $11.76, plus an upsell of $21.23. That’s a total of $32.99 per hop!

This just goes to show that ours is the best affiliate program out there which pays the highest commission on the Health and Fitness marketplace. What this all boils down to is that backend commissions allow you to earn more for the same amount of work ' so get started with the program now!

8. Can I use pieces of your sales copy on my landing page?

Yes, you can use pieces of my sales copy if you want to incorporate it in your landing page. But ' and that’s a big but ' I personally do not recommend it. Remember that once a person is already sold on the idea of purchasing our product, he or she would not want to hear any more sales-related rambling.

It is my job to sell an online user on the idea of buying my product. Your role as an affiliate marketer is to include a compelling headline, a high-quality article and a call to action ' not another sales page!

Just a quick review, here’s what you should be including in your landing page ' which is something that I personally recommend instead of including my sales copy on your site:

    - Provide tips and tricks without revealing the complete solution. - Copy which peaks a reader’s curiosity; builds trust and rapport; and establishes credibility. - Provide a call to action by including my website via your affiliate link.

    9. How about images from your site? Am I permitted to use them on my landing page?

Yes, I do recommend sprucing up your landing page with images from my site. However, you still need to be careful about choosing images to incorporate on your site. You wouldn’t want to include pictures of ripped bodybuilders if you are promoting a drug-free bodybuilding alternative because it will distort the message that you want to impart to your audience.

The images to incorporate on your site should be somewhere along the lines of food, my profile shots, exercise demos, product covers, attractive men and women and even fit celebrities.

    10. Can you give me a ballpark amount of the commission that your top affiliates make?

This actually depends on a number of factors. Before I can give you an estimated amount, I need to know what your primary source of traffic is.

Let’s take one of my top affiliates as an example. He closes a few sales a day, but it’s through his own YouTube channel which has a few hundred thousand subscribers that really pushes his conversions up. If you’re a PPC affiliate, you can have anywhere from one to five sales a day depending on how optimized your ads are.

But what I can say is that the biggest affiliates are those who use e-mail as a primary means of generating traffic. E-mail traffic will allow you to convert anywhere from 5% to 13% on hop links alone!

At the end of the day, it’s all about the volume and quality of traffic. As long as you work on optimizing one source of traffic at a time, you’re good to go.

    11. If I take the PPC path, how much do I need to spend on promotion?

Should you opt to market my products through pay-per-click, the first thing that you need to do is start off with what you are comfortable with. Slowly scale up your budget as long as you see that you are earning profits. When you reach a point that you’re breaking even, I do recommend continuing to send traffic because it means that you’re acquiring intelligence.

Naturally, it all depends on how much you are willing to spend on the initial promotion. I personally recommend doling out anywhere from $500 to $1000 on the first day of a new campaign which I immediately optimize. If you want to spend more, you can definitely do so! On the other hand, for those who can only spare $5 or $50 on the first day, that’s perfectly fine – as long as you focus on growing.

    12. If I have an AdSense account, how do you track my commissions for AdWords?

Just e-mail us your affiliate ID and your Google conversion script which can be found in your AdWords account. Send the info to support@digitalweddingsecrets.com.

    13. Can I provide you with my Google conversion script?

Yes, you can e-mail the conversion script along with your affiliate ID to techsuport@digitalweddingsecrets.com.

You also have the option to use the embedded scripts on the page and include them in your own site. We do not, however, offer codes to videos that are fore retail since these are made for purchasing purposes.

    14. I already started with your program – but why have I not made any sale yet?

There are a couple of reasons why you have not made your first sale yet:

First, you do not have enough traffic. Depending on the source of traffic that you have chosen, they will have different conversions. An authority site with lots of free content and program reviews, for example, can generate anywhere from 100 to 200 sales per day. PPC with direct linking, on the other hand, might convert only one sale for every 500 or more clicks.

Second, are you direct linking or sending online users to a landing page? Remember that landing pages always have higher conversions. Here’s a link that you can check out for examples: http://www.digitalweddingsecrets.com/affiliates/link_generator.php

The best way for you to gain success in this field is to create an authority site for wedding photography, which specifically targets skinny guys. If you have a PPC campaign, it might be a bit slower to work on but over time, you are bound to see great results. Just be patient.

You can also use the 3D graphics which we created to promote our YouTube videos using this link.

    15. What’s the best way to promote your products through article marketing?

I personally recommend rewriting my articles into unique, search engine optimized and dynamic content. This will boost the traffic of your site further. Instead of simply using an article rewriting software or changing a few lines here and there, I do recommend making a complete overhaul of the articles – without changing the principles, of course. This is because Google’s getting smarter and it can tell if you simply changed up my original articles for SEO purposes.

You’re more than welcome to reuse my article and blog content. Use my bio, but make sure to replace my website address with your URL which should be masked with your affiliate ID.

    16. Is there any way for me to promote a landing page without having to deal with pop-ups?

Check out this URL for our link generator, where you can find a home page without pop-ups: http://www.digitalweddingsecrets.com/affiliates/link_generator.php

    18. When would I earn my commission if there is a trail offer?

Basically, you will earn an initial 75% commission on the $4.95 trial immediately as soon as a site visitor agrees to it. Then, you will earn an additional 75% on the rest of the package that they purchased if they do not cancel before 21 days. The process happens automatically and you will see your commission on your account on the 21st day.

Should the customer change his or her mind and cancel before the 21 days, you will lose the initial commission that you earned on the $4.95 offer. However, more than 80% of our customers take advantage of the trial and do not cancel – so you don’t have to worry too much about that.

    23. Who do I get in touch with for any other questions that I have?

We are more than happy to hear from you! Just get in touch with us through the support email. If you think that your issue is to complex to discuss on e-mail, I will even personally get on the phone and discuss how you can improve your marketing efforts.

I do this because I only profit if you profit – so we can work together to both of our success. Please give me 24-48 hours to respond to your inquiries.
